Christianity vs. Islam
Galatians 1:6-9
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently, some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Top Questions to ask Muslims about the Quran and the Life of Mohammad
-
Someone would have had to write down the Quran.
`Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to `Uthman. `Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, `Abdullah bin AzZubair, Sa`id bin Al-As, and `AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. `Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, `Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. `Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt (Sahih Al-Bukhari 4987).

The book doesn’t follow a traditional flow with a clear beginning and end. It’s a book of chaos. For example, chapter 9 is about the last 10 years of Mohammad’s life, but the Quran has 114 chapters.
-
The Injeel is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
If Mecca is so important and so old then why is Mecca only mentioned once in the Quran and does not appear Historically or Archaeologically until the 7th century. Jerusalem is mentioned over 800 times in the Bible and has been around for thousands of years. Also to build a city of Mecca, the 1st thing you need is water, no water, no crops, no cattle, no people, no town, no city, no civilization, no history, no archaeology, no evidence before 7th century. Even the water they use in Mecca today is pumped in from desalination plants that they built to bring in fresh water. Water Plants were built in the 20th century.
-
Yet, in the Bible, Jesus is mentioned over 1,000 times just in the New Testament alone in just 260 chapters.
-
Jesus is mentioned directly over 100 times and indirectly almost 200 times in the Quran, and Mohammad only 4 times; there is something wrong with that.
-
Jesus is the most documented person is all of ancient history, and He appeared 10 times to His disciples after His resurrection from the dead.
Colossians 1:6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.
1 Corinthians 15:3-8 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
1 Corinthians 2:2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
-
Jesus, and all Bible prophets, could read and write.
John 7:15, “The Jews there were amazed and asked, “How did this man (Jesus) get such learning without having been taught?”
-
Mohammad is a false prophet like Joseph Smith of the Mormons. On the other hand, the Bible records 37 of Jesus’ innumerable miracles. Mohammad fails the test of a prophet, according to the Law of Moses.
Deuteronomy 13:1-5, “If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. 5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.”
Deuteronomy 18:20-22, “But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death. 21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.”
John 21:25, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
-
“Mohammad thought he was possessed - Holy Prophet Muhammad according to 'Amr Ibn Sharhabil, mentioned to his wife, Khadija, that he feared he was possessed by demons and wondered whether others consider him possessed [i.e. evil spirits] (source: pfanoter 1910:345). These statements about the physical symptoms exhibited by Muhammad when he saw the spirit were not made by strangers, non Muslims or people who did not know him.”
The Bible reveals these symptoms as demonic spirits:
Mark 9:17-18, “One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. 18 And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit, but they couldn’t do it.”

If the Bible is wrong, the Quran is also wrong because the Quran says to read the Bible. However, even if the Quran is wrong, the Bible is still true.
Surah 3:3, 3:48, 3:65, 5:46, 5:47, 5:66, 5:68, 5:110, 7:157, 9:111, 48:29, 57:27

Arabic is not an accurate or defined language; only 10% of the world speaks it. The language began in the 4th century with 16 letters and grew to 28 letters in the 8th century.
72 Jewish Scholars translated the Bible’s Old Testament into Greek, which is the most accurate and defined language of its time and all time—the whole world spoke it because of Alexander the Great’s victory of the world in 300 B.C. All Jews in Rome spoke Koine Greek in the 1st century.
-
For example:
The Quran says Noah's son drowns in the flood but later says they did not.
The Quran says Noah lived only 60 years after the flood. The Bible says he lived 350 years after the flood.
The Quran says the flood was for 150 days, and the Bible says Noah was on the boat 371 days.
The Quran says it was a local flood, but the Bible says it was a global flood. Science shows a global flood over the entire earth. The Quran does not give a date for the flood, but the Bible dates Noah’s age and year, month, and day—600 to 601 of Noah’s life for flood, etc.
And there are many many other contradictions throughout the Quran.
-
Because they do not read it.
-
Mohammad was not Jewish and hated the Jews and the Christians, and his message did not line up with the previous prophets and messages given for over 2,500 years before he showed up in the 7th century.
-
What power does a rock have? They are worshiping idols.
Exodus 20:4-5, “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.”
Deuteronomy 4:28, “There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
Isaiah 46:6b -7, “and they bow down and worship it. 7 They lift it to their shoulders and carry it; they set it up in its place, and there it stands. From that spot it cannot move. Even though someone cries out to it, it cannot answer; it cannot save them from their troubles.”
-
But Mohammad said he received 22 years of revelation—it does not add up. Gabriel in the Bible is not an Archangel; Michael is, who is mentioned as one who watches over Israel.
Daniel 12:1, “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise.”
Jude 1:9, “But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
2 Corinthians 11:13-14, “13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”
Why did Mohammad’s message come 600 years after Jesus Christ in the 7th century?
Why did Mohammad, at 50 years old, marry a 6-year-old and have sex with her when she was 9 years old and when he was 53 years old?
Why did Mohammad have over 11 wives when the Quran only allows 4 wives? (Surah 4:3).
If Mohammad was a prophet, how did he let a Jewish woman poison him in 629 AD, which he died from in 632 AD?
Why was the Quran not completed until 250 years after Mohammad died?
Why do the Muslims now use the Quran, which was completed in 1924 in Cairo, Egypt, under the Ottoman Empire?
Why are there more than 25 different Qurans in print worldwide today when Muslims say there is only 1 Quran?
Why did the Quran introduce vowels in the 8th century and were not there in the beginning?
Why isn’t Mohammad mentioned anywhere in Biblical History?
Why doesn’t the Bible ever say to read the Quran, but the Quran says to read the Bible?
Why does the Quran change the name of Jibril to Gabriel later, who he says gave him the revelations?
Why would Gabriel, the Biblical angel, give a message to Daniel, Mary, and Zechariah and then give a different message to Mohammad 600 years later over 22 years?
Why does the Bible in Deuteronomy 18:20-22 reveal Mohammad as a false prophet?
If Mohammad was a prophet from God, why did he never speak in the name of the LORD God Almighty?
Why didn’t Gabriel say to Mohammad when he saw him, “Do not be afraid,” though Gabriel says that to everyone else he appears to in the Bible?
